Give your dog the jump on social interactions with trainer-supervised, small group playdates at Furever Pet Care. If you have plans to travel later this summer and are considering a dog boarding stay, playdates are a great way to introduce your dog to our set up. Here are the scheduled playdate times and days for July 2021.
Tuesdays 5:30 pm – July 6, 13, 20, 27
For the Pandemic Puppers – best for dogs that benefit from positive socialization outside their own homes
Tuesdays 6:30 pm – July 6, 13, 20, 27
For the Sprinters – best for dogs that like to run and chase with not as much body contact
Sundays 9:00am – July 11, 18, 25
For the Wrestlers – best for dogs that like paws-on play, adolescent dogs, high energy dogs
Sundays 10:15am – July 11, 18, 25
For the Brunchers – best for dogs that are learning to love their brethren, positive socialization, puppies
Sundays 11:30am – July 11, 18, 25
For the Littles – best for small breed dogs under 15 lbs, shy dogs, young puppies
I have loosely defined the groups above based on our dogs who come regularly. A stable group of dogs can be especially beneficial for puppies learning dog manners or under-socialized dogs. Some dogs come on alternate weeks, so these groupings are flexible.
Each dog is pre-screened one-on-one before joining a play group. I provide immediate feedback to pet parents with regards to their dogs participation in playdates. The groups are also modified to fit your specific dogs’ ongoing needs. For example, a formerly shy dog that has achieved more confidence may be moved into a group with higher energy to ensure social progress. Additional group times and / or two-dog pairings may be added to accommodate specific dog socialization or enrichment goals.
DURATION: 45 Minutes per session
GROUP SIZE: Up to 4 dogs
REQUIRED: Proof of vaccinations and flea/tick preventative; signed Participation Waiver; new participants will require one meet and greet with your dog prior to first session.
BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY: Fee is $20 per session; reservation and payment required IN ADVANCE so I can ensure good playmate matches. No refunds, however I will do my best to substitute a cancellation into a future session.

COVID PROTOCOLS: include contactless outside drop off and pick ups; one person at a time arrival/departure; no additional items to accompany the dog (i.e. treats, food, toys).
